
AIM Center and free introductory orientations:
The AIM (Adults in motion) Center has the latest in circuit training equipment. It is specially designed for a 30 minute workout, beginners and seniors. Contact Jessica Turner for an orientation appointment.
Mileage Club:
Joining the mileage club is a great way to record your progress, compete with fellow members, and enjoy being active. At the end of each calendar year, a banquet for the members is held. The 2007 Mileage Club Banquet will be held January 31, 2008 at Pete Peterson Lodge. Please RSVP at the front desk.
Basketball League:
Adult basketball league runs from February through March. Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Registration will run through the month of January. Please contact Jessica Turner for detailed information.
Fitness Center:
Cybex equipment, free weights, cardio theater, treadmills, ellipticals, arc trainers, and bikes can all be found at this facility. There are currently 12 group exercise classes offered a week. Please see the schedules tab for current times.
Fitness Evaluations:
Members have the ability to receive free evaluations to determine body composition, flexibility, strength and cardiovascular endurance using a series of tests. Appointments can be made by Jessica Turner.
Personal Training:
The YMCA has certified trainers on staff to work with individuals one-on-one. Trainers meet with each client and create a program designed to meet each individual’s specific needs. Additional fees to apply.
Massage Therapy:
The Downtown YMCA has licensed massage therapist available by appointment.

Cycling
Exciting, fun low impact cardio workout for all ages. Resistance and speed controlled by each participant so its perfect for anyone.

Kettle-Fusion
The 30 minute class will burn calories, increase flexibility and strength. In this intense workout you will tone your entire body using the Russian Kettlebell. Kettlebells will be provided on a first come first serve basis. You can sign up at the front desk up to 30 minutes before class. To guarantee your spot in the class, bring your own kettlebell!

Power Spin
Cycle up and down hills and through the mud in this intense 45 minute cycling class.

Stretch and Tone

Step Aerobics
High Impact step aerobic workout with light weight routine and finished with a fun ab routine.

Pilates
Composed of a system of stretching and strengthening exercises that work together in order to achieve more graceful and efficient movements, improve alignment and breathing, and increase body awareness.

Water Aerobics
A non-impact full body class taught in both deep and shallow water.

Yoga
Classes are taught using variety of styles and focus on spinal alignment while developing flexibility, strength, stamina, and balance. Yoga will enhance any fitness program and has been proven to help manage stress.
