The Tuskegee-Macon County YMCA is located 30 minutes east of Montgomery.  Tuskegee offers an after-school program, summer camp, baseball, basketball, football, cheerleading, seniors programs, soccer, youth government, tennis an many other programs.

The Tuskegee YMCA was started in 1992 by community leaders to fill a void left in the community.  At the time, there was not any recreation, youth sports after school and summer camp programs.  Tuskegee has stepped up to the role of recreation in Macon County.

Today, Tuskegee serves as the leader in recreation and elementary age childcare for Macon County.  Located at Abbot Park, it has an outdoor pool, tennis courts, baseball fields and basketball courts.  Tuskegee has started a Capital Funds Drive to build a state of the art facility to serve the children of Tuskegee and Macon County.
