YMCA Montgomery operates 18 outdoor and 2 indoor pools. Aquatic programs offered at these locations include swimming lessons, water exercise, competitive swimming, lap swim and other programs.
The East YMCA offers a year-round swimming in its eight lane indoor pool. Aquatic programs are offered year-round a the East YMCA on Pelzer Ave.
The YMCA Montgomery has a nationally recognized competitive swim team. The YMCA Montgomery Barracudas Swim Team has produced Olympic Swimmers. For competitive swimming, please click here.
The YMCA also offers summer swim programs where children can swim for their local branch and compete with teams in the Montgomery Association.
